Avoid This Number In Business At All Costs… It Will Bankrupt You

Do you know how many ways Amazon uses to get customers? UNLIMITED…

They get their customers from everywhere. Google, Facebook, Instagram, X, recommendations, books, articles…

You literally can’t number them. Every single big company has multiple sources of leads.

Why?

If one source falls, they won’t be impacted in the slightest.

“Of course they have… they are humongous companies” you might say

How many lead generation methods does your business have?

If the number is ‘1’, what do you think would happen if that pillar falls?

Your business goes into chaos mode… there won’t be enough time to repair the problem in time. It’s like asking the universe to screw you over.

Same thing with having a single person have full control of a job.  If that person gets sick, dies, quits or goes to the competitor… you’re screwed and it’s all your fault.

If he was the guy who handled all the money and had all the passcodes, what are you going to do now?

If you have one of anything in your business, it should be a very high priority to get to 1.5, preferably 2.

Even though it will take extra time or hassle, anything can happen at any time. Even for the thing you least expect to fall.

It’s not because you are unlucky, or the universe hates you. This is fully in your control, you know that there might be one thing that can break and it will absolutely destroy you.

That’s why you should have more lead generation methods.

You never saw pepsi run the same ads for 20 years did you? Times change, trends change, the world is moving at an extremely fast pace.

While I was speaking the other day with one of my clients he told me that once covid started, no one would come to him anymore.

His method of getting clients was only through recommendations of past customers.

No one would speak with each other anymore, only send basic messages through social media.

Imagine he was doing Meta ads during that period, this would’ve grown his business, not bankrupt it.

One of my best techniques when advertising is testing multiple audiences at the same time.

Believe it or not, even though one audience might need you, some perform much better than the others.

I had 4/6 audiences giving me an average of $15 per lead, while the other 2 had only $5.

After some time, even those 2 started performing much worse, but I had more freshly baked ads to replace the others.

It would’ve taken me another 3 whole weeks to make new ads that could replace those 2.

I would’ve lost an entire month of revenue over this small mistake.

The worst number in business is ‘1’.

That’s how most companies fall. If you can’t prepare beforehand for the change, you will suffer huge losses.

I would’ve told you more about testing different ads, but this deserves a whole article.

See you soon,

Darius
